Museums of San Jose; operates two
sites: the San Jose Historical Museum
in Kelley Park and the Peralta Adobe
& Fallon House Historic Site in
downtown San Jose. Both offer tours,

Historical Museum is a 14 acre facility
with a park-like setting including
27 original and reconstructed homes,
businesses, and landmarks highlighting
the culture and history of San Jose
and Santa Clara Valley. The museum
is unique with paved streets, running
trolleys and an old-fashioned ice
cream and candy parlor and cafe, and
a museum gift shop. The museum offers

The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, architecturally

The Winchester Mystery House, on of
the world's most famous mansions,
is the true legacy of Sarah Winchester
who it is believed thought she would
never die as long as construction
continued on her elegant Victorian
home.
The famed mansion is a California
State Historic Landmark, listed on
the National Register of Historic
Places and a San Jose City Landmark.
Tickets for tours of the historic
160 room Victorian mansion will include
$17.95 for adults, 13 to 64; $14.95
for seniors, 65 and over and children,
12 and under, $11.95.
There are also special package rates
for tours of both the mansion and
the behind-the-scene tour set at $24.95,
adults and $21.95, seniors. Children,
twelve and under, are not admitted
on the behind-the-scene tour because
of safety reasons. Youngsters, five
and under, are admitted free on the
mansion tour when accompanied by a
paying adult. Behind-the-Scene Tour
tickets are $14.95 for adults, $13.95
for seniors.
